Narrows challenge:

The overall winner is based on the clubs best 6 results (points). In the event of the best six results producing a tie for first or any other place, the backup system to provide a definitive ranking for those particular clubs, is to go to best 7, best 8 and so on. Going to best 7 is only for the purpose of separating a shared ranking between two or more clubs and does not alter the overall score of all clubs.

Junior trophy:

Based on best 5 results out of all U19 and U17 races

Senior trophy:

Based on best 5 results out of all non U19 and U17 races

Moyna Tyson cup:

Best 6 female races including junior and senior female races

Overseas cup:

Best 6 results for visiting clubs

Iain Haig Oughtred memorial trophy:

As yet undetermined for 2025

Allocation of points in a race category is based on the total number of skiffs in the competition (e.g. 18) rounded up to the nearest decade for ease of counting (e.g. 20).

So first place in the final would be allocated 20 points, second place in the final 19 points and so on down to 7 points for 14th place in the final.

If there are only 6 boats in a race points will be allocated 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15.

The overall race finish order can be ranked from the allocated points.
